Alameda Point Antiques Faire

East Bay

by Jill

While we generally don't review non-SF locales (it's a whole 'nother world across the bridges), an exception must be made for the Alameda Point Antiques Faire. The Faire is a true amalgamation of all things wonderful, old, weird, and useful. It's here where you will find your bakelite jewelry, collectible vintage maps, porcelain poodle figurines and old-fashioned glassware. There is a great selection of antique furniture and vintage clothes as well. The sellers are professionals who know the value of their goods so don't expect to find garage sale bargains here. But lots of dusty gems do certainly abound! Held the first Sunday of every month so plan accordingly.
